PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device capable of detecting every sheet in a jammed paper housing space.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device includes: a filler 2 which covers the whole region in the width direction of a sheet in a jammed paper housing space 1 as a detection range of the sheet in the jammed paper housing space 1 as detection means of the sheet housed in the jammed paper housing space 1; and a transmission type sensor 3 which detects the movement. The filler 2 is also used for a guide of the sheet advancing into the jammed paper housing space 1 and reduces a cost. A member which constitutes a rotation fulcrum 15 of the filler 2 and the transmission type sensor 3 are fastened to a device main body. The rotation fulcrum 15 is moved to the transmission type sensor 3 side and is disposed on the upstream side in the advancing direction of the sheet. The width of the filler 2 is set to be Wf≤1.1 hs.Lp (Wf is width of the filler 2, hs is a curl height of a target sheet edge part, Lp is sheet width), thereby, the curl height of the sheet edge part is suppressed and the sheet can be completely detected even when the sheet is housed on a portion without the detection range by using a photo sensor. |
