A display panel (1) is provided with: a first substrate (10); a display unit (20) that is disposed on the main surface of the first substrate (10); a first sealing wall (30) that is provided on the main surface of the first substrate (10), said first sealing wall being provided in a frame shape along the outer periphery of the first substrate (10); a second sealing wall (35) that is provided on the main surface of the first substrate (10), said second sealing wall being provided in a frame shape along the outer periphery of the display unit (20); a drying member (40) that is applied between the first sealing wall (30) and the second sealing wall (35); a protection member (45) that is applied to a region surrounded by means of the second sealing wall (35), said protection member being on the display unit (20); and a second substrate (15) that is provided on the first sealing wall (30), the second sealing wall (35), the drying member (40), and the protection member (45). The second sealing wall (35) covers at least a display unit (20) surface part on the reverse side of the surface in contact with the first substrate (10). |
