An amplification circuit according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a voltage/time converter and a time/voltage converter. The voltage/time converter comprises a first sampling circuit, a second sampling circuit, a detector, and a signal generator. The detector comprises an input terminal and an output terminal that are connected to both the second terminal of the first sampling circuit and the second terminal of the second sampling circuit, and said detector generates a time signal by detecting whether the voltage of the input terminal satisfies a condition. The time signal indicates the length of a period during which the voltage of the input terminal of the detector satisfies the condition. The signal generator comprises a control terminal that receives the time signal and an output terminal that is connected of the third terminal of the first sampling circuit, and said signal generator generates an electrical signal in accordance with the time signal and supplies the electrical signal to the first sampling circuit.
