PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screw for an extruder that can accurately control the kneading degree of a raw material by suppressing shearing action on the raw material flowing through a passage inside a screw body.SOLUTION: A screw (21) for an extruder is provided with a screw body (37). The screw body (37) rotates about a linear axis (O1) along the conveyance direction of the raw material. A conveyance part (54) having a flight (56) is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the screw body (37). The flight (56) is configured to convey the raw material in the axial direction of the screw body (37) at the time of rotation of the screw body (37). The inside of the screw body (37) is provided with a passage (60) which receives inflow of the raw material conveyed by the flight (56) and makes the inflow raw material flow toward the outer peripheral surface of the screw body (37). The passage (60) is provided at a position deviated from the axis (O1) of the screw body (37).
