摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for further improving a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery in its output characteristic and high-temperature resistance.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery 20, an exothermic peak when performing DSC measurement on a positive electrode 22 in a state of charge of 100% with a rate of temperature rise of 5°C/min is located in a temperature region of 250-330°C. Further, in the nonaqueous electrolyte lithium secondary battery 20, the temperature of the exothermic peak in DSC measurement on the positive electrode 22 in the state of charge of 100% is in a range of -10 to 14°C with respect to the temperature of an exothermic peak when performing DSC measurement on the positive electrode 22 in a state of charge of 60%, preferably in a range of 1 to 10°C on a higher temperature side thereof. The positive electrode 22 includes a lithium complex oxide expressed by the following basic compositional formula: Li(NiMnCo)O(where 0.02<Z<0.08; 1.0&le;X/Y&le;1.34; and 0.65&le;X+Y&le;0.9).
