PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of abnormal potential at the time of power generation stop/storage.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel gas supply passage 2 for supplying a fuel gas to a fuel cell aggregation unit 1; a fuel gas discharge passage 3 for discharging a fuel gas from the fuel cell aggregation unit 1; a circulation passage 4 connecting the fuel gas discharge passage 3 with the fuel gas supply passage 2; a first pressure detection unit 6 for detecting discharge pressure of the fuel gas; a gas sealing valve 7 on the circulation passage 4; a hydrogen storage unit 8 disposed on the downstream of the gas sealing valve 7; a check valve 9 disposed on the downstream of the hydrogen storage unit 8; and a second pressure detection unit 10 that is in the hydrogen storage unit 8 and detects pressure of a fuel gas in the hydrogen storage unit 8. In the case where pressure in the hydrogen storage unit 8 is equal to or lower than the discharge pressure of the fuel gas during the fuel cell aggregation unit 1's power generation, the gas sealing valve 7 is opened to supply a hydrogen gas into the hydrogen storage unit 8. In the case where the pressure in the hydrogen storage unit 8 exceeds the discharge pressure of the fuel gas, the gas sealing valve 7 is closed to store a hydrogen gas in the hydrogen storage unit 8. |
