PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is arranged so that an electrode sheet can be prevented from being bent and enables the suppression of the worsening of a battery performance.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 100 provided according to the present invention comprises: an electrode sheet 220 including an elongated electrode collector 221 and an electrode active material layer 223 on the electrode collector. The electrode sheet 220 is formed so that an uncoated part 222 is provided on one edge part of the electrode collector 221 in a widthwise direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the electrode collector, and the uncoated part 222 is substantially not provided on the other edge part. In the electrode active material layer 223, the average circularity D1 of electrode active material particles included in an edge part A of the electrode active material layer 223 located on the side where the uncoated part 222 is formed is larger than the average circularity D2 of electrode active material particles included in a region B other than the edge part A (D1>D2). |
