PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system for effortlessly generating images having an expanded dynamic range in a short period of time.SOLUTION: In order to generate a total image (2), one of several evaluation methods (SPC1 ADC, 2D-PC) is selected for each of various sample regions (S, T), and one of a plurality of parallel evaluation channels is selected depending on one of the result signals and/or an intermediate result signal. Independently selecting from various signal evaluations for each region makes it possible to utilize, in each case, a signal evaluation having an optimal dynamic range for a corresponding sample region. A resulting image has an expanded dynamic range, which is due to the combined quantities of dynamic ranges of individual image elements. |
