PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an osmium complex integrated body including an osmium complex having 2,2'-biimidazolate monoanion as a ligand.SOLUTION: An osmium complex integrated body comprises complex molecules each having an osmium (III) ion with three 2,2'-biimidazolate monoanions disposed as bidentate chelate; the complex molecules are bound to each other through two hydrogen bonds formed between adjacent 2,2'-biimidazolate monoanions. The complex integrated body is produced by heating and refluxing, by microwave irradiation, a solution containing hexachloro osmate(IV) and 2,2'-biimidazole, and then, adding ammonia to the resultant solution, thereby causing the precipitation of the complex integrated body. The complex integrated body can be preferably used for an electrode of an electric double layer capacitor. |
