PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a coil filament formed by joining a plurality of single coils.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a coil filament of the present invention includes: (a) a step of preparing a plurality of single coils each of which has a turn forming region and leg parts; (b) a step of arranging the plurality of single coils coaxially and in such a manner that between neighboring turns of one single coil, a turn of the other single coil is positioned; (c) a first leg part joining step of joining the leg parts of the respective single coils together at one end side; and (d) a second leg part joining step of joining the leg parts of the respective single coils together at the other end side, while pulling the coils in a direction to allow the same turns of the respective single coils to approach each other. In the step (a), a coil pitch of the second single coil is smaller than that of the first single coil, and the number of turns of the second single coil is equal to that of the first single coil. |
