PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lamp capable of preventing dew condensation due to a rapid drop in the temperature of a light source.SOLUTION: The vehicle lamp 1 is configured such that at least an LED (light source) 5 and a portion (base portion 8a) of a heat sink 8 are accommodated in a lamp chamber 4 defined by an outer lens 3 for covering a housing 2 and an opening thereof, and a heat radiation fin 8b of the heat sink 8 is disposed outside the housing 2. The vehicle lamp is provided, in a heat transfer path to the heat radiating fin 8b from the LED 5 of the heat sink 8, with a member having a temperature dependence on heat transfer performance and showing a tendency such that heat transfer performance increases when the LED 5 is on and heat transfer performance decreases when the LED 5 is off. In this regard, as the member having a temperature dependence on heat transfer performance, a low melting point material 11 or the like having a lower melting point than the maximum heat generation temperature of the LED (light source) 5 is used. |
