PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic capacity type touch switch capable of preventing malfunction due to the application of a noise.SOLUTION: An electrostatic capacity type touch switch 1 that detects a change of electrostatic capacitance as count value when an operator touches or moves the hand closer to an electrode and that turns on when the detected count value exceeds a predetermined threshold comprises: a multiple electrode 2 including a plurality of electrodes 2a to 2e; a detection means 3 that detects a change of the electrostatic capacity of each electrode 2a to 2e as count value; and a determination means 4 for determining whether the hand of the operator is touched to or moved closer to the multiple electrode 2 on the basis of the count values detected by the detection means 3 and the patterns thereof. Here, the determination means 4 determines that the operator touched or moved the hand closer to the multiple electrode 2 when at least one of the count values detected by the detection means 3 exceeds an ON threshold and a plurality of count values show a continuous pattern. |
