PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device that can stably rotate a rotor.SOLUTION: A disk drive device comprises: a stator that extends in a shaft direction from a first direction toward a second direction, and includes a shaft member having an end on a second direction side fixedly supported to a base; a rotor that is rotatably supported to the stator, and includes an inner tube encircling the shaft member, an outer tube fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the inner tube, and a hub fixed to an outer peripheral surface of the outer tube; and a fluid dynamic pressure generation unit that is provided in a holding area configured so as to hold a lubricant fluid at a gap between the stator and the rotor. The rotor has an annular gap part between the inner tube and the outer tube and to be formed so as to surround a rotating shaft in an area overlapping with at least one part of the fluid dynamic pressure generation unit in the shaft direction. |
