PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain high-quality display.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device 200 includes an electro-optic panel, a holding member that houses the electro-optic panel, and a light-controlling device 60 disposed on a first surface of the holding member. The light-controlling device 60 takes a first optical state and a second optical state, and controls luminous energy of light irradiating the holding member. Thereby, temperature changes in the electro-optic panel by irradiation with light can be controlled to a certain degree. Thus, changes in display caused by temperature changes in the electro-optic panel with lapse of time or the like can be suppressed, and high-quality display can be maintained for a long time. |
