PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which fixes a flexible flat cable without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a frame 18; a carriage which is supported on the frame 18 so as to reciprocate in a predetermined direction; a circuit board 28 for controlling the printer; a flexible flat cable 30 which is connected between the carriage and the circuit board 28; a transfer roller 34 for transferring a recording medium in a direction substantially perpendicular to the predetermined direction; a holder 36 supported by the frame 18; a pressing roller which is rotatably supported by the holder 36 and used for pressing the recording medium to the transfer roller 34; and a torsion spring 44 which is supported by the frame 18 and biases the holder 36 to the transfer roller 34. The flexible flat cable 30 is supported by the torsion spring 44. |
