A method for implementing traffic interconnection between virtual devices (VDs), the method comprises: configuring for a current VD a virtual port for interconnecting with other VDs, wherein the virtual port is configured as a layer-3 port to the other VDs; distributing routing information of the current VD and learning routing information distributed by the other VDs via the virtual port; advertising port information of the virtual port of the current VD to the other VDs and receiving port information of virtual ports advertised by the other VDs, wherein the advertised port information and the received port information each comprise a MAC address and a port number of the virtual port; when a packet destined to a user device under a VD of the other VDs is received, determining, by the current VD, an IP address and a MAC address of the virtual port of the VD through searching a routing table and Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) learning, and determining the port number of the virtual port of the VD that the user device belongs to according to the received port information of the virtual ports advertised by the other VDs, transmitting the packet to the virtual port of the VD that the user device belongs to according to the determined IP address, the determined MAC address and the determined port number; when receiving a packet transmitted by the VD of the other VDs on the virtual port of the current VD, forwarding, by the current VD, the packet to a destination user device within the current VD.
