The device for separating/housing blood components is provided with: a blood storage section; a component housing section for housing a component that is part of blood; and a linking tube that joins the blood storage section and the component housing section. The blood storage section has: a tube-shaped blood storage vessel; a blood lead-in pathway; and a component lead-out pathway. The component housing section has a component lead-in pathway and a metal needle.

An apparatus for separating and storing blood components, the apparatus comprising: a blood storage part for storing blood; a component storage part for storing a part of the components of the blood stored in the blood storage part; and a linking tube for aseptically linking the blood storage part and the component storage part, wherein the blood storage part has a blood storage container in the form of a flexible cylinder, a blood inlet channel for introducing the blood into the blood storage container, and a component outlet channel for extracting a part of the components of the blood from the blood storage container, wherein the component storage part has a component inlet channel for introducing a part of the components of the blood that have been extracted from the blood storage container, and a return pipe that extends from the component inlet channel towards an interior space of the component storage part, capable of sending back a part of the components of the blood stored in the component storage part to the blood storage container, and wherein the linking tube links the component outlet channel and the component inlet channel.
