PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging device capable of suppressing a situation where a breaker is tripped and put in a cut-off state during the charging of a battery regardless of the state of an AC power supply.SOLUTION: A charging circuit 10 is connected via a cable 11 and a breaker BK1 to a commercial power supply AC1, and connected to a battery B1. A control circuit 12 controls the charging circuit 10 such that power to be output from the charging circuit 10 to the battery B1 is turned into power instructed by a power command value. In this case, a power command value is adjusted on the basis of the input currents of the charging circuit 10 and the output power of the charging circuit 10. Thus, it is possible to suppress a situation where the input currents of the charging circuit 10 exceeds the allowable currents of the breaker BK1, and that the breaker BK1 is tripped. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a situation where the breaker BK1 is tripped during the charging of the battery B1 regardless of the state of the commercial power supply AC1. |
