PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact chip fitting device configured to prevent a welding torch from being failed even when performing repeatedly work for fitting contact chips to the welding torch.SOLUTION: A contact chip 11 is pressure-welded and held by a holding tool 7, with the contact chip being inserted and fitted into a fitting space 7a against energizing force of a coil spring 72, and the holding tool 7 is rotated, with a welding torch 10 fastened by torch fastening means 13. This causes screwing of a screwing protrusion 11c to a screwed recess portion 10c to start so that the pressure-welded and held state of the contact chip 11 in the holding tool 7 is released and the contact chip 11 is moved up by energizing force of the coil spring 72 while being rotated and fitted to the welding torch 10. |
