PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travelable pipe rail travel unit while avoiding metal fittings provided on travel pipes for anchoring beam pipes vertically crossing in a plan view above the travel pipes.SOLUTION: A pipe rail travel unit, in which first, second, and third locking hooks each composed of a plate-like member having a pair of right and left semicircular parts so formed as to clamp the outer peripheral face of a pipe from a radial direction, and provided on a tip, an intermediate part, and a rear end of a frame, respectively, project above the frame, is provided with a locking hook open/close mechanism for making the semicircular parts work to be openable and closable in right and left directions by centering on first and second locking shafts provided on the lower ends of the respective locking hooks, has operation means, and has open/close restricting means for, when any one of the locking hooks of the first, second, and third locking hooks is open, maintaining two others in a close state. |
