PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric rice cooker capable of properly heating a side part of an inner pot and enhancing a heat shielding function by attaching a belt-like heating element to an upper inner peripheral surface of a ceramic protective frame and arranging an induction heating coil on the outer periphery of an inner case outside the ceramic protective frame so as to heat the side part of the inner pot indirectly.SOLUTION: An electric rice cooker includes an outer case forming an outer wall, an inner case in the outer case, a non-metal protective frame in the inner case, an inner pot in the non-metal protective frame, a lid member above the inner pot, and heating means for heating the bottom part of the inner pot. A belt-like heating element is attached to the upper inner periphery of the non-metal protective frame, and an induction heating coil is arranged on the outer periphery of the inner case. The heating element is heated by the induction heating coil, and the side part of the inner pot is heated indirectly by the heat generation. |
