In the present invention, an excitation light source (10) irradiates excitation light (4) onto a sample (2) to be measured. An image sensor (20) includes a plurality of pixels (22) arranged in one or two dimensions and receives measurement light emitted from the sample (2) in response to the excitation light (4). A polarization selection element (30) is inserted between the sample (2) and the image sensor (20) and includes a plurality of pixels (32) arranged in one or two dimensions. Each pixel (32) is configured so as to receive a corresponding portion of the measurement light (6), select measurement light having a polarization direction corresponding to a drive signal (S1) applied to the pixel (32), and supply the selected measurement light to the image sensor (20). A measurement control unit (40) applies a periodic drive signal (S1) having a first period (T1) to each pixel (32) of the polarization selection element (30), divides the first period (T1) into four exposure times (T2 = T1 / 4), and acquires data (I1, I2, I3, I4) obtained from each pixel (22) of the image sensor (20) at each exposure time. |
