The purpose of the present invention is to provide a display device which is fixed in place on top of a utility pole at such a height as to be visible to even a pedestrian, and which dispenses with an installation space and heightens advertisement display effects irrespective of day or night by emitting light from a surface brightly in the nighttime. As a means of solution, a pair of LED light sources (7) are used to emit light which is incident at a prescribed incidence angle on an incident edge face (6a) on either side of a light-guiding plate (6), such that, of the transmitted light passing through the light-guiding plate (6), reflected light that is reflected on a reflection surface (3a)-side is radiated forward, causing the light to be emitted from a surface, and an advertisement medium (11) arranged in front is thereby lit and displayed through a display window section (4a). |
