PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a partition wall that can be used while substantially leaving a surrounding building wall where an old unit bath is housed, can shorten a construction period and reduce a construction cost, when the old unit bath is replaced with a new unit bath with a size increased to the side of an undressing room and renovated to a wide bathroom, and to provide a construction method of renovating the bathroom with the partition wall.SOLUTION: A partition wall A between an undressing room and a bathroom remaining after removing an old unit bath is cut off only at the lower end side to form a hanging wall 221, and a portion of a floor of the undressing room is cut off by an amount sized up to the side of the undressing room of a new unit bath, and the new unit bath is installed so as to be fitted in the portion formed by removing the old unit bath and cutting the floor. Meanwhile, a new partition wall A is formed by using a unitized partition unit 1a including a hanging wall 221, a unit body 2a, a pair of right and left clearance adjustment materials 5a, an upper overlapped material 3a and a pair of right and left longitudinal overlapped materials 4a. |
