PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion removal device capable of making an ion adsorption amount equal at all electrodes, preventing partial electrolysis of water, maintaining an adsorption amount and extending service life.SOLUTION: An ion removal device is configured to divide: active carbon electrodes 101, 102, 103, 104, a separator 107, and electrodes 112, 113 of a DC power supply 110 into two or more blocks 91, 92, and the respective blocks are connected in series, and a surface ratio or volume ratio between adjacent blocks, adjacent over a range of an upstream side to the downstream side, gradually increase as going to a downstream side. |
