PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmitter and a packet transmission method in which band use efficiency is effectively improved.SOLUTION: A packet transmitter includes: a plurality of queues and one or more auxiliary queues for storing packets; a totaling unit for totaling a data amount of packets to be transmitted, on the basis of each packet identifier; a distribution unit for distributing the packets to be transmitted to the plurality of queues and the one or more auxiliary queues for each identifier, on the basis of the data amount totaled by the totaling unit; a distribution unit for distributing the packets stored in the one or more auxiliary queues to each of the plurality of queues according to the residual capacity of the queues; and a plurality of transmitter units for respectively transmitting the packets, stored in the plurality of queues, to a common transmission line. |
