METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FINE FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing fine fibers that is capable of manufacturing entirely uniform fine fibers in a safe and easy manner and improves productivity.SOLUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing fine fibers comprises: a porous member that continuously extends in circumferential direction and has a surface on which many pores are formed; a feed section that attaches a polymer solution to a part of the porous member; a drive part that moves the porous member in circumferential direction; a collecting part that is placed on outer peripheral side of the porous member, where a jet that ejects air toward the collecting part through the porous member and an electrode that is applied a voltage by high-voltage power supply are installed in the porous member. The fine fibers are manufactured by following processes: charging the polymer solution attached to the porous member by an electric charge feed of the air ejected from the jet and the electrode; and jetting the polymer solution toward the collecting part.
