PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal laminate manufacturing method that can stably and easily produce a clean metal laminate formed with an intermetallic compound layer on a surface thereof, and to provide a metal laminate produced by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A first metal layer 10 is formed on the surface of a substrate 50 (S2), and a second metal layer 20 comprising a Cu10Ni alloy is formed on the surface of the first metal layer 10 (S3). A composite of the first metal layer 10 and the second metal layer 20 is formed by the step S3. Subsequently, the composite of the first metal layer 10 and the second metal layer 20 is subjected to heat treatment to produce an intermetallic compound layer 30, comprising an intermetallic compound consisting of a first metal and a second metal, between the first metal layer 10 and the second metal layer 20 (S4). Subsequently, the second metal layer 20 is mechanically peeled off from the first metal layer 10 using the intermetallic compound layer 30 as a peeling layer (S5). |
