Techniques are disclosed for systems and methods to provide setup, network connection, and/or other operations for network cameras. The operations may be initiated in response to placing a user device (106) having proximity-based communications circuitry in proximity of a camera (114) having proximity-based communications circuitry. The user device (106) and the camera (114) may exchange information responsive to placing the user device (106) in the proximity of the camera (114). The information may include network information sent from the user device (106) to the camera (114) and/or camera information sent from the camera (114) to the user device (106). The network information may include information associated with a network (104). The camera (114) may be connected to the network (104) using the network information. The camera (114) may be added to list of accessible cameras on the user device (106) when the camera (114) is connected to the network (104). The proximity-based communications circuitry may be Near Field Communications circuitry. |
