Mould intended for vulcanizing tyres, comprising • - an upper plate (10) and a lower plate (20), • - a collection of radially mobile arc-shaped strong segments (40), • - each strong segment (40) supports a plurality of moulding segments (30) able to slide freely between a position in which the mould is closed and a position in which the mould is open, and in which each moulding segment comprises radial guidance means (32, 11) able to impart to it a radial path (r e, r f). According to the invention, said radial guidance means are formed by a guide pin (32) positioned on the external axial face of the moulding segment (30) and sliding in a radial slot (11) positioned on the axially internal face of the adjacent plate so that the pin does not disengage from the slot during the travel of the moulding segments as they move between the position in which the mould is open and that in which the mould is closed.
