PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic device capable of easily acquiring information about density in an object.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic device includes a light source 100 for generating a plurality of lights having wavelengths different from each other, a conversion element 106 for receiving photoacoustic waves that are respectively generated in the object by respectively radiating the lights having wavelengths different from each other, an information acquisition part for acquiring information about the density of a material existing in the object by using reception signals of a time sequence each outputted from the conversion element in each wavelength, and an indication part for indicating a coefficient to be used in the case that the information acquisition part acquires the information about the density to the information acquisition part. The indication part indicates a value that can be represented by an expression including the light quantity of each wavelength as the coefficient, and the information acquisition part acquires the information about the density by using the coefficient indicated from the indication part and the reception signal of each wavelength. |
