PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid type lead power storage battery having high quality that can prevent increase and decrease of electrolytic solution by preventing internal infiltration of water droplets even when the lead power storage battery is disposed at a place where water droplets such as rain water or the like is easily applied to the battery.SOLUTION: A lead power storage battery has an electrode plate group comprising a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and a separator, a battery container having plural cell chambers in which the electrode plate group is mounted, a lid for sealing the opening portion of the battery container while having a liquid port corresponding to each cell chamber, a liquid port tap for sealing the liquid port while having an exhaust hole for discharging gas occurring in each cell chamber, and a sheet which is provided with an adhesive layer below a resin layer except for a non-joint portion and joined onto a lid so that the non-joint portion is disposed just above all the exhaust holes through the adhesive layer, thereby providing a gas exhaust path for discharging gas occurring in the cell chamber from one end of the non-joint portion to the outside. A water repellent layer containing at least water repellent material is provided at a place corresponding to the non-joint portion on the upper surface of the sheet, and no water repellent layer is provided at at least a part of the other place. |
