PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile press-in method capable of preferably performing pile press-in construction.SOLUTION: A pile press-in work is carried out using an auger machine 1 which is supported by a chuck unit 15 of a pile press-in unit 10. A hoisting mechanism 5 which is disposed at the top of the auger machine 1 (auger drive unit 4) has a function to wind a wire 52 on a drum 51. By using the function to wind the wire 52 on the drum 51, a tension is applied to the wire 52 which is fixed to weight member W positioned lower than the hoisting mechanism 5. Since a reaction force is given by the weight member W, the pile press-in unit 10 receives the reaction force from both of an existing pile P and the weight member W. Thus, the pile press-in work of the pile P is preferably carried out. |
