摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion evaluation test method of a hot forging metal mold capable of reproducing an abrasion phenomenon in hot forging time in an actual machine, and capable of systematically evaluating influence of the forging temperature and influence of a forging object material.SOLUTION: A cylindrical hot forging metal mold of which outer diameter/inner diameter ratio is two or more is prepared. Next, after forging, a workpiece having the volume capable of generating a burr having a thickness of 1 mm or more and having a diameter being an outer diameter or more of the hot forging metal mold, is inserted into the hot forging metal mold, and the workpiece is hot-forged by using the hot forging metal mold so as to generate the burr having the thickness of 1 mm or more and having the diameter being the outer diameter or more of the hot forging metal mold. An abrasion quantity of a contact surface between the burr and the hot forging metal mold is evaluated.
