摘要 A LED backlight source (100) for a liquid crystal display device, comprising: a booster circuit (110) for boosting, in different display modes, an input voltage (Vin) to a working voltage needed by each LED string (140) for working in a current display mode, wherein the display modes comprise a two-dimensional display mode and a three-dimensional display mode; a plurality of LED strings (140) connected in parallel, with each LED string (140) comprising a pre-determined number of LEDs connected in series and receiving the working voltage needed thereby for working from the booster circuit (110); a current regulation circuit (130) for regulating, in different display modes, a current flowing through each LED string (140) so that a ratio of a current flowing through each LED string (140) in the three-dimensional display mode to a current flowing through the LED string (140) in the two-dimensional display mode changes; and a controller (120) for providing a drive signal to drive the booster circuit (110) to work, and providing voltages of different display modes for the current regulation circuit (130) in the different display modes.
