PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam system capable of allowing output of a steam generator and a load factor of a steam boosting device to cooperate better.SOLUTION: A steam system 1 includes: a steam generator 10 for generating low pressure steam; a steam boosting device 20 for boosting the low pressure steam; a low pressure steam supply line 30 for supplying the low pressure steam generated in the steam generator 10 to the steam boosting device 20; and a low pressure steam pressure measurement unit 31 for measuring the pressure of the low pressure steam circulating in the low pressure steam supply line 30. The steam boosting device 20 includes: a compression unit 21 for compressing the low pressure steam; and a load factor control unit 22 for controlling a load factor so that the pressure of the low pressure steam introduced into the compression unit 21 becomes a first set target pressure P1. The first target pressure P1 is set to be equal to or greater than 30% and equal to or less than 100% of a balance pressure PB which is measured by the low pressure steam pressure measurement unit 31 in a state where the steam generator 10 is operating at maximum output and the steam boosting device 20 is operating at a maximum load factor. |
