Systems and methods that receive one or more information associated with a debit card account and receive verification of the information associated with the debit card. Upon the verification, a proxy associated with the information may be generated and stored in association with the information. The proxy may further be provided to other entities that may use the proxy as an indicator of the verification of the debit card account and for initiating transactions using the verified debit card account.

1. A financial vault system, comprising:
one or more memories that stores computer-executable instructions; and one or more processors configured to access the one or more memories, wherein at least one of the one or more processors is further configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to: receive, from a financial application system on behalf of a user, an account number associated with a debit card account; generate an authentication request comprising the account number; transmit, to a debit card processing system, the authentication request to confirm the debit card account; receive, from the debit card processing system and responsive to transmitting the authentication request, an authentication response indicating confirmation of the debit card account; generate, responsive to receiving the authentication response indicating confirmation of the debit card account, an account number proxy associated with the account number; store the account number proxy in association with the account number; and transmit the account number proxy for storage in association with the user in the financial application system.
