A panel drive circuit and method therefor, said panel drive circuit comprising: a scan control transistor (T1), a drive transistor (T2), a photosensitive transistor (T3), a storage capacitor (C1) and an organic light-emitting diode (OLED); also comprising a scan control terminal (Scan n), a data signal terminal (Data n), a power supply voltage input terminal (Vdd), and a low-voltage input terminal (Vg1); the drive current of the drive transistor (T1) is a grey-scale current (I1), and the current of the photosensitive transistor (T3) is an ambient light current (I2), the grey-scale current (I1) being dependent on a grey-scale voltage stored in the storage capacitor (C1), and the ambient light current (I2) being dependent on the amount of ambient light; the luminance of the panel is dependent on the magnitude of the sum of the grey-scale current (I1) and the ambient light current (I2). |
