The present invention relates to the field of image processing. Disclosed are a private information hiding method and device, the method comprising: identifying at least one piece of private information in an image; analyzing the type of each piece of private information; and according to the information type, hiding the private information in the image. The present invention solves the problem in the relevant art that private information processing cannot be conducted on an image in which not all character information is the private information to be hidden, and can employ different processing methods to hide the private information according to the type of private information. |
