PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To advise a driver of urgency or uncertainty.SOLUTION: A display control unit 103 comprises a determination part 105 for determining whether an object recognized by a recognition part 101 is present in a predetermined area adjacent to a locus, and a control part 106 for controlling a display source 104 in such a way that a first virtual image is generated at a first timing and that a second virtual image is generated at a second timing following the first timing when the determination part 105 determines that the object is present in the predetermined area. The first virtual image is displayed in a first area located in the locus direction from a display medium position corresponding to a position where the object is present toward a display medium locus corresponding to the locus. A second virtual image is displayed in a second area located in the locus direction and on a side closer to the display medium locus than the first area at the second timing while being enlarged to be larger than the first virtual image displayed in the first area.
