PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a connection structure of an auxiliary cover for mounting the auxiliary cover of a circuit breaker through a connection part to a main cover, if a gap of the connection part formed from a connection shaft and a holding protrusion is enlarged, a conductive component within the circuit breaker may be exposed or a molten substance may be blown out in the case of breaking.SOLUTION: In the circuit breaker, the auxiliary cover is mounted through the connection part to the main cover so as to be opened/closed. The connection part is formed from the connection shaft which is protrusively provided on a side face of a protrusion provided at an edge of the auxiliary cover, and the holding protrusion that is provided in the main cover for holding the connection shaft. The connection shaft is formed by notching one end of a columnar shape including a predetermined axial diameter. The holding protrusion includes a groove into which the connection shaft can be inserted, and a width of the groove is narrower than the axial diameter of the connection shaft and wider than a length from a notched portion of the connection shaft to a radially opposite end portion. Thus, the gap of the connection part can be made small and the circuit breaker of which the safety is improved by making the gap of the connection part small, can be provided. |
