PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond to the size of an input area in free scale and maintain high-accuracy coordinate input.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device has a sensor unit for projecting light toward a retroreflective member provided on three peripheral sides of a coordinate input area and detecting retroreflected light, a first and a second telescopic frame disposed on two opposed peripheral sides of the coordinate input area and holding the sensor unit and retroreflective members, and a third telescopic frame disposed on two opposed peripheral sides of the coordinate input area and holding the retroreflective members. The coordinate input device adjusts the lengths of the other frames of the first to third frames in accordance with the length of one of the first to third frames so that the coordinate input area constitutes a prescribed aspect ratio. |
