PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact test method for a brittle material excellent in reproducibility based on an actual condition; a brittle material impact test apparatus; and a method for manufacturing a brittle material.SOLUTION: An impact test apparatus 1 for a brittle material includes a pad 10, a drop device 20, a base 30, an imaging device 40 and a guide member 50. The pad 10 comprises a cone-shaped top part 11. The impact test apparatus 1 performs a drop impact test by dropping the pad 10 that is in a stationary state at a predetermined position in the guide member 50 and is supported by the drop device 20 to a brittle material S arranged on the base 30 and imaging an image at the moment of collision of the brittle material S by the imaging device 40. An impact test with high reproducibility can be performed by changing the angle of the apex 11 of the pad 10 and a drop height. |
