PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of detecting whether a space to which air can be supplied, exists between a detected object and an ambient structure or not, or whether a space through which airflow can pass, exists on the detected object or not, with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes an image pickup portion having a visible light cut filter and picking up an image inside of a room, an object detecting portion 64 detecting an object on the basis of the image picked up by the image pickup portion, a passing propriety detecting portion 65 for detecting whether the airflow can pass near the object detected by the object detecting portion 64 or not, and an airflow control portion 66 for controlling the airflow on the basis of a result of the detection by the passing propriety detecting portion 65. |
