[Problem] To provide an image-processing device, an image-processing program, an image-processing method, and a microscope system, with which it is possible to obtain high-resolution images suitable for scientific validation applications. [Solution] This image-processing device is equipped with an image conversion unit and an image generation unit. The image conversion unit decomposes, into their frequency components, a first captured image and a second captured image, the first captured image being of an observed object captured under a first illuminating light through a microscope optical system and the second captured image being of the observed object captured under a second illuminating light through a microscope optical system, and the second captured image being constituted such that the contrast in the low-frequency region is lower than that of the first captured image, and the contrast in the high-frequency region is higher than that of the first captured image. The image generation unit synthesizes the low-frequency component of the first captured image and the high-frequency component of the second captured image, and generates a synthesized image. |
