The invention relates to a cutting machine (1) with a machine housing (11) which supports a drive motor for driving a rotating cutting blade (13). The cutting blade separates individual slices from preferably strip-shaped food, said slices being stored in a storage region (12) of the cutting machine. The storage region is equipped with a scale device (2) which ascertains the weight of the separated slices. The aim of the invention is to provide a universal area of use of the cutting machine with a compact design. This is achieved in that the cutting machine (1) has a modular design, wherein the scale device (2) is designed as a separate component which can optionally be mechanically connected to the machine housing (11) in a rigid manner or removed from the machine housing. |
