摘要 The present invention relates to a light emitting diode driving apparatus using an active power factor correction circuit, and a driving circuit thereof. According to the present invention, the light emitting diode driving apparatus comprises: a plurality of light emitting diode rows which include light emitting diodes connected in series, and are connected to each other in parallel; a plurality of constant current resources individually connected in series; a minimum voltage detection circuit for measuring voltage applied to the constant current resources to feedback minimum voltage; and an active power factor correction circuit for supplying direct current power to the light emitting diode rows by taking voltage, as output voltage, which adds the sum of forward voltage depending on the number of the light emitting diode included in a single light emitting diode row and operation characteristics of the light emitting diode to minimum operation voltage depending on the operation characteristics of a corresponding constant current resource, and comparing minimum voltage fed back from the minimum voltage detection circuit with predetermined reference voltage to reduce the size of the output voltage when the minimum voltage is the reference voltage or greater, or to increase the size of the output voltage when the minimum voltage is the reference voltage or the less.
