PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply air to a tire in a tire holding device.SOLUTION: A tire holding device 1 includes: a lower spindle (a first support part) 2 mounted with a lower rim (a first rim) 24 for supporting a tire T; an upper spindle (a second support part) 3 mounted with an upper rim (a second rim) 34 for supporting the tire T; and an air supply and exhaust part 5 for supplying and exhausting air to/from an inside of the tire T. The upper spindle 3 has a protrusion part 33 for protruding toward the lower spindle 2. The lower spindle 2 has an insertion part 23 into which the protrusion part 33 is inserted. The air supply and exhaust part 5 has a first flow path F1 for letting the air to flow inside thereof; a second flow path F2 for letting the air flowing the first flow path F1 to flow inside the tire T from an opening part 331 formed on a top end of the protrusion part 33; and a collection part 53 mounted on the opening part 331 and collecting a foreign matter G mixed into the second flow path F2 from the inside of the tire T.
