PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a curtain, capable of providing a truly clean curtain useful for achieving a peace, safe, or comfortable living environment and the like.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a curtain comprises a purification process (sterilization process) of eliminating insect pests, bacteria (including virus), dust, or organic compounds which are adhered to a fabricated curtain; and a packaging process of packaging the curtain after the purification process so as to be kept in a purified state, the purification process including, for example, ultraviolet light irradiation, heating, and air-blowing. It is preferable to further provide, before the packaging process, a chemical agent application process of applying a chemical agent that exhibits an antibacterial action or a decomposition action of the organic compounds for the curtain. The chemical agent preferably includes a photocatalyst, especially, a tungsten oxide that functions even in an indoor light. A heat forming process of forming the curtain into a wave shape while heating the curtain can be performed instead of heating process performed for drying the chemical agent sprayed on the curtain. |
