PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost required for a component for providing insulated power supply from a power converter on the primary side to a control circuit on the secondary side.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a power converter comprises: a primary side orthogonal converter connected to a primary winding of a transformer; a secondary side converter connected to a secondary winding of the transformer; an AC-DC converter that is connected to a third winding of the transformer for performing voltage transformation with the primary winding and performs AC-DC conversion on power transformed between the primary winding and the third winding; and a control circuit that receives power converted by the AC-DC converter and controls power to be converted by the secondary side converter. |
